Community & Charity Assistance

The very ethos of Jackson Family Funeral Directors is to help our local communities as much as possible. The depth of this help goes beyond support for bereaved families but to assist local charities raise awareness as well as support local clubs and groups.

We have all seen over the years that the sense of community had largely disappeared but in the past few years, during the Covid pandemic especially, the sense of community pride has once again grown.

As a nation we gave terrific support to our NHS and other key workers but along with it came support within our locality. Neighbours, groups and clubs began supporting one another in a way that had long since been forgotten.

As a company of individuals who value their community we try to spend our time and effort to also support these valuable connections. We predominantly support through bringing awareness to such causes and also sponsor smaller clubs that require that little extra funding.

In 2021 we financially supported Drakes Broughton Rangers Football Club by sponsoring 2 of their younger teams and began to advertise with Malvern Town Football Club. Both of these activities we feel are important to help the next generation value what a collective support means.

We are asked by a variety of groups and clubs to sponsor small events to help them raise further funds and try to give a little to everyone, especially our time.

As we look to 2022 onwards we aim to become more involved with our local communities through advice, fundraising support and public awareness.

As part of the CMA funeral order 2021 we must declare any charity donations made over £500. None of our donations exceed this amount and we wish not to disclose any of the groups we do assist as we do not do this for advertising or soliciting reasons, we do this out of choice to help where and when we can.

If your group or club wishes to talk to us about how we can help (we do consider ourselves very experienced event planners) please do get intouch with either Tracey or Tim on 01684 594971.
